Green Leaves

All sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes, and are $220 per session. Payment for the session will be processed on the day of your appointment. 

For patients under a Mental Health Care Plan 

  • Medicare benefit:  $131.65

  • Gap paid by patients: $88.35


Please note that all clients referred under TAC will be charged a fee of $30 per session, payable at each session.

Cancellation Policy

Once an appointment has been made to see Dr Valerie Brown, a whole hour is reserved for you. If you do not let us know that you cannot attend, there is a loss of revenue for the clinic and we are unable to contact other patients on the waiting list in need of an appointment.


You will receive a SMS reminder 3 days prior to your appointment. Simply respond YES or NO to convey if you will attend or not. It is important you do so, because Sale Psychology Clinic has a strict cancellation policy (we reserve the right to cancel your appointment if you do not respond to our reminder text and/or email).


If, for some reason, you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice. If not, cancellation fees will be charged as follows:


  • Cancellation received less than 48 hours prior to your appointment: $100 fee


  • Non-attendance or cancellation received less than 24 hours prior to your appointment: full fee for the session.


We reserve the right to obtain payment from your bank account for any cancelled appointment or non-attendance as per above. Please contact us if you need to make alternative payment arrangements within 24 hours of the cancelled appointment.


You will be unable to re-book or attend subsequent appointments with Valerie until your cancellation fee is paid (or arrangements have been made).


We understand that at times emergencies occur and will do our best to take exceptional circumstances into account. Please make sure to communicate with us if this is the case.

Please note that Medicare, DVA, TAC or health insurances do not cover cancellation fees, and it will be your responsibility to cover those fees.


Our cancellation policy applies to both face-to-face and videoconference appointments.
